Basically, the deal is that you get 13% - 37% discounts off the daily regular ticket rate. You buy an Edge card and that includes your first day of skiing free and the rest of your skiing days are charged to you at discounts ranging from a minimum of $9/day to a maximum of $ 28/day. The amount of the discount is based on the season. The day rates using the express card (after the discount) are as follows:

Discounted Lift Tickets - Multi-Day:
These are multiple day passes that provide a discount of from 5% up to 20% on lift ticket rates (e.g. early December is a 20% discount) over the normal day rate of $77 The discounts vary according to the number of ski days and the season. These Discount Lift Tickets MUST be purchased, AT LEAST 96 HOURS, PRIOR to your arrival in Whistler. They are non refundable, except in the case of injury.
